Healthy Living, Healthy Eating

In an attempt not to steal Sally's e-mail writing thunder, and hopefully revive the Beyond Running Community pages, I will be blogging my weekly recipe ideas. Hopefully, this will not only boost your cooking confidence, but also create an open invitation for recipe sharing. Share your favorite recipes, ask questions, give useful insight....anything.

With all the rain we have been having, it has turned some of the sidewalks into treacherous stretches of rotten fruit. I almost biffed it on a run last night...it reminded me of running in the bog at the filthy 5K. *sigh* But at least during the filthy your prepared to fall.

Here's another one I need to get off my chest. Have you ever been running along in a resedential area, and suddenly you get a big nose ful… Continue

Ultra Success In Duluth, MN!

Well the 4 flat landers from Fargo, ND successfully completed the 50K and 100K in Duluth, MN. For Jerry and I it was our first Ultra race, and for Tim this race was another shot at finishing his first Ultra, and boy did he ever! This time around Tim was well prepared and well trained. I had no doubt whatso ever that he would finish strong and he did!. Jerry was a very impressive also, he caught up to me with 15 miles to go and never looked back a testament that his hard work and training… Continue
